Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and personable Staff Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accounting services to our clients, including weekly and monthly processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. The Staff Accountant will also be responsible for bank account and balance sheet reconciliations, monthly financials, and related analysis.

Responsibilities
  • Weekly and monthly processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
  • Bank account and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Monthly financials and related analysis
  • Grant tracking and monitoring
  • Cash flow projections and monitoring
  • Preparation for outside audits
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience in public accounting and/or industry; 5+ years preferred
  • Outstanding communication skills and positive attitude
  • Knowledge of multiple accounting software packages; QuickBooks experience is a plus
  • Intermediate-level Excel skills
  • Willingness to travel to client offices as needed
  • Nonprofit experience preferred, but not required
