Staff Accountant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our team at Addison Group. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with our accounting team to prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage daily accounts receivable and payable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Conduct multi-state sales tax reviews and manage related returns, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Enter journal entries and perform other accounting duties as assigned.
  • Contribute to year-end reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in full-cycle accounting, with a strong understanding of financial reporting and compliance.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience updating service agreements/contracts, with a strong understanding of contract law and compliance.
