Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team at Veritas Steel LLC. As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to steel fabrication, including grinding operations, repairs, and miscellaneous tasks assigned.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all fitting operations, including grinding operations, repairs, and miscellaneous tasks assigned.
  • Meet high production demands promptly and complete high-quality work with expertise.
  • Adhere to company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Work alongside and learn from experienced steel fitters.
  • Drill, install high-strength bolts, and grind steel components.
  • Produce fillet and groove welds using various processes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Participate in continual improvement activities.
  • Read and interpret blueprints.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
  • Ability to read metric tapes.
  • Flexibility to work with others in various circumstances and operate equipment using standardized methods.
  • Ability to work with diverse individuals in the workplace.
  • Ability to adapt to changing work priorities, communicate with diverse groups, meet deadlines, and work as part of a team.
  • Ability to deal effectively with time pressures, long hours, rapidly changing priorities, and stress.
Working Conditions
  • Work is performed indoors in a large warehouse or outside in all weather conditions.
  • Regular exposure to dirt, dust, paint fumes, noise, moving equipment, heavy steel, and other hazardous conditions.
  • Required safety equipment includes safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hats, and steel-toed boots.
