Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Hotel Guest Service Representative to join our team at Kinseth Hospitality. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration and Check-in/Check-out: Greet and register guests in a warm and friendly manner, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process.
  • Room Assignments and Key Management: Assign rooms to guests, issue room keys, and manage key security to ensure guest safety and security.
  • Guest Services and Support: Provide guests with information about hotel services, local attractions, and travel directions, and respond to their requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Cash Handling and Accounting: Accurately compute bills, collect payments, and make change for guests, and maintain accurate records of transactions.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Answer and route internal and external phone calls, and maintain effective communication with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance: Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the hotel lobby and front desk area, and report any maintenance issues to the relevant teams.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, and one to three months of related experience in customer service or a similar role.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English, and possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to accurately handle cash, credit cards, and checks, and perform basic accounting functions.
  • Reasoning and Problem-Solving: Ability to solve practical problems, deal with a variety of variables, and interpret instructions in written or oral form.
