Position Overview

We supply essential recycled materials to battery manufacturers across the nation, enabling the production of high-quality batteries that power essential vehicles and equipment, thereby supporting the integrity of our national supply chain.

This role involves working night shifts, specifically a 12-hour continental schedule from 6 PM to 6:30 AM, alternating between three days one week and four days the next.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various mechanical systems including pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, flue pipes, water lines, burner systems, air compressors, and hydraulic systems.
  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of all piping systems within the facility.
  • Manage the installation, maintenance, and repair of valves, hoses, fittings, bearings, gauges, and meters throughout the facility.
  • Execute welding and repair tasks on carbon and stainless steel materials, adhering to AWS D1.1 standards.
  • Interpret blueprints or sketches for layout and fabrication tasks.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors across departments to identify issues and devise effective solutions.
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance of buildings and associated systems as necessary.
  • Perform basic electrical troubleshooting, including motor control circuits and motor replacements.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Required Qualifications
  • AWS D1.1 certification is mandatory.
  • Experience in rigging and lifting operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) such as L2L, MP2, Maximo, etc., is advantageous.
  • Capability to operate manlifts and forklifts.
  • Ability to enter confined spaces and navigate fixed/portable ladders.
  • Experience operating cranes and the ability to obtain certification for mobile crane operation.
  • NFPA 70E certification is a plus; training will be provided if not currently held.
  • Basic First Aid and CPR certification is required.
