The Chief Marketing Officer will spearhead the formulation and implementation of the marketing vision and strategy, aligning with the organization's overarching mission, vision, values, and strategic objectives. Collaboration with the Sales Leader is essential to design and execute comprehensive customer journeys, with both roles being vital for enhancing business performance. The CMO will focus on cultivating demand generation both online and offline, requiring a strong communicator and collaborator who fosters trust across various functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the corporate marketing function:
- Design and implement the marketing vision and strategy across all business lines.
- Manage and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering their development.

- Maintain relationships with external digital and creative agencies.
- Oversee customer journey mapping for both digital and traditional marketing efforts.
- Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of marketing programs and initiatives.
- Analyze customer data to recommend impactful marketing strategies.
- Manage the overall marketing budget effectively.
- Develop local marketing strategies:
- Encourage a culture of coaching and mentorship for sales and marketing professionals.
- Create and maintain marketing materials, training resources, and market analyses.
- Guide national and community-level marketing activities to support business development.
- Enhance resident and family engagement as a key referral source.
- Drive brand strategy development and execution:
- Collaborate with internal teams to establish a cohesive brand identity and messaging framework.
- Support business growth by strengthening brand equity and market positioning.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of marketing experience, particularly in multi-unit operations with a focus on digital and brand development.
- Experience in senior living or hospitality sectors is advantageous.
- Proven ability to design optimal digital customer journeys.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience in stakeholder engagement and brand management.
- Successful track record in managing diverse marketing channels in a multi-unit context.
- Established relationships with executive leadership, including CEO, COO, and CFO.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies that achieve or exceed objectives.
- Disciplined in measuring performance against success criteria and ROI.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation abilities.
- Interest in understanding consumer preferences within the older adult demographic.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative leadership style.
