Laundry and Housekeeping Associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Laundry and Housekeeping Associate to join our team at The Laurels of Heath. As a Laundry and Housekeeping Associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and process linens according to established procedures and schedules.
  • Ensure that housekeeping supplies are stored out of reach of residents at all times.
  • Properly dispose of trash and waste, including bio-hazardous materials, in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
  • Post safety signs when housekeeping activities pose environmental hazards to staff, residents, visitors, or others in the facility.
  • Use personal protective equipment when at risk of exposure to blood or other potentially hazardous body fluids.
  • Be cross-trained to perform duties in Housekeeping.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • One year of experience as a Housekeeper preferred.
