Job Overview

This role requires commitment to a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, specifically following a 2-2-3 rotation pattern, with hours from 7AM to 7PM.

As a Senior Facilities Maintenance Technician, your primary duties will include the operation and upkeep of essential plant utilities, including but not limited to boilers, chillers, compressors, and various water and electrical systems.

You will also serve as a troubleshooting expert for utility equipment and act as a key resource for three specific utility systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and provide training on utility systems relevant to manufacturing processes
  • Ensure system maintenance and respond promptly to critical alarms
  • Monitor systems via advanced control mechanisms
  • Conduct inspections of mechanical areas
  • Address alarms in regulated environments

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, complemented by relevant industry experience or trade school education
  • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Capability to interpret technical documentation
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Awareness of safety protocols
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts and weekends
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
  • Experience as a utility operator in the pharmaceutical sector is advantageous
