Position Overview:
River Crossing Rehab and Healthcare Center is seeking dedicated Nutritional Chefs. The primary responsibility of the chefs is to prepare all meals served to residents and staff, ensuring quality and nutritional standards are met. The chefs will report directly to the Director of Dietary Services.


Key Responsibilities:
As a Nutritional Chef, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Reviewing the menu and organizing a cooking schedule to ensure timely meal service.
  • Preparing meals in accordance with standardized recipes to maintain consistency and quality.
  • Washing, peeling, cutting, and trimming vegetables, fruits, and meats as required.
  • Baking, roasting, stewing, or steaming meats and vegetables to perfection.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Ability to read, write, and follow oral instructions effectively.
  • Demonstrated work history in institutional or commercial cooking environments.
  • Dependability and a strong record of attendance and punctuality.
  • Capability to meet the physical demands associated with the position.
