Job Title: K-12 School Dietitian

Job Summary:

Chartwells K12 is seeking a Full-Time, Onsite K-12 School Dietitian in St. Louis, MO to assist with the development, implementation, and evaluation of nutrition and sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead menu planning and recipe management in our proprietary menu management software.
  • Collaborate with chefs on strategic purchasing initiatives and technical nutritional review of ingredients, recipes, and menus.
  • Develop and provide associate training and lead food allergy and medical condition program compliance.
  • Build and implement student-centered nutrition education programs.
  • Provide leadership for operations and support teams with media and nutrition communications, including social media posts.
  • Conduct internal audits and monitor district compliance with USDA requirements for school breakfast and lunch programs.
  • Work with a team of dietitians to develop various programs, including sustainability, taste testing, discovery kitchen, and mood boost programs.

Qualifications:

  • Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or RD Eligible (RDE).
  • Excellent communication, multi-tasking, and teamwork skills.
  • Possess the vital skills to optimally use Microsoft Office applications and nutrient analysis programs.
  • Experience working in a foodservice environment, K-12 school nutrition, highly preferred.
