Key Responsibilities

We are committed to providing reasonable accommodations to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Adhere to the safety protocols and programs established by CPI, completing safety documentation and required records.

Oversee grain and agronomy operations effectively.

Ensure optimal grain conditions and conduct monthly facility inspections in accordance with OSHA standards.

Manage the preparation of all dry or liquid fertilizers and chemicals.

Supervise the loading of applicators and tender trucks.

Maintain accurate documentation and records related to fertilizer and chemical inventory, production maintenance, daily operations, and overall inventory.

Conduct necessary preventative maintenance on equipment, facilities, or rolling stock, submitting all reports punctually.

Operate forklifts and loaders proficiently.

Interpret blend and field tickets, county road maps, and plat maps accurately.

Facilitate the dumping and receiving of grain from producers.

Monitor grain inventory moisture levels and temperatures within silos and tanks.

Responsible for loading and delivering products and services sold by the location.

Essential Qualifications

High School Diploma, General Education Degree (GED), or relevant experience and/or training.

Capability to lift weights ranging from 50 to 100 pounds occasionally.

Willingness to work extended hours as business needs arise.

Ability to work in dusty environments, adverse weather conditions, and varying temperatures. Occasionally exposed to high, precarious locations, and typically loud noise levels.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Adaptability to changing circumstances.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Ability to pass required physical, background, and drug tests.

Preferred Qualifications

Background in agriculture.

Experience in grain, fertilizer, or chemical handling.

Possession of a valid Driver's License or CDL with endorsements is preferred.
