Occupational Health Nurse Specialist

Salary: Up to $29 per hour
About the RoleAs an Occupational LPN, you will be responsible for providing medical care to patients with work-related or non-work-related injuries or illnesses. Your duties will include administering first aid treatment, obtaining healthcare history information, and performing specific assessments or screenings as needed.
Main Responsibilities:
- Administer medical care for work or non-work-related injury or illness by giving first aid treatment, following appropriate Occupational Health Nursing Guidelines
- Obtain health care history information and may perform specific assessments or screening activities, such as mental health status, suicidal risk, cognitive screening, substance use screening, oral health screening, growth and developmental screening, or nutritional assessments, depending on scope of license
- Assist with drug screens, wellness programs, etc., and other tasks as assigned
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong foundation in nursing practices and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an LPN in a related field
- A valid LPN license in the state of practice
- Certification in CPR in good standing
