  • Manage both incoming and outgoing communications to facilitate appointment scheduling and patient pre-registration in accordance with the daily operational checklist.
  • Employ a series of standardized inquiries and responses to collect and relay information during scheduling and pre-registration interactions.
  • Assess client needs through the automated call distribution system and redirect inquiries to the appropriate staff for further assistance.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as directed by the Scheduling Manager or Team Lead.
  • Fulfill any other duties as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in the healthcare or a related sector.
  • Competence in managing multi-line phone systems, computers, and general office tools.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, healthcare providers, and team members.
  • Previous experience in medical scheduling is preferred.
  • Adherence to COVID-19 vaccination protocols may be required.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screenings.
Physical Requirements:

In a typical office environment:
  • Engage in sitting, standing, and walking for more than 50% of the time.
  • Perform repetitive movements involving hands, arms, and legs.
  • Conduct visual, auditory, and verbal communication with patients.
For less than 50% of the time:
  • Carry out tasks that may involve stooping, kneeling, or crawling.
  • Engage in activities requiring climbing and balancing.
  • Lift and transport items weighing between 10-20 pounds.
