Job Summary

As a Respiratory Therapist at Corewell Health, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and improving health outcomes. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate professional to join our team in the Respiratory Therapy department at Lakeland Hospital St Joseph.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' respiratory care needs and develop effective treatment plans
  • Perform advanced evaluation, management, and therapeutic procedures for patients requiring respiratory assistance
  • Assess the effectiveness of treatment and accurately document patient information
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest respiratory care techniques and technologies
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent
  • 2 years of relevant experience in pulmonary rehabilitation, respiratory care, or sleep medicine
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of Michigan
  • CRT-Respiratory Therapist Registry certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care
  • CRT-Hyperbaric Technologist certification from the National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology
  • CRT-Sedation certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center
  • CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification from the American Heart Association
  • CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
  • CRT-Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
