Job Summary

As a Respiratory Therapist at Corewell Health, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and improving health outcomes. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate professional to join our team in providing respiratory services to patients of various age groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' respiratory care needs and make recommendations for treatment.
  • Perform advanced evaluation, management, and therapeutic procedures for patients requiring respiratory assistance.
  • Assess the effectiveness of treatment and accurately document patient information.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care and education to patients and families.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest respiratory care techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in pulmonary rehabilitation, respiratory care, or sleep medicine.
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Michigan.
  • CRT-Respiratory Therapist Registry certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care.
  • CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification from the American Heart Association.
  • CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
  • CRT-Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
