Job Title: Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a school-based position in a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will work with students to enhance their fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities to support their academic and personal development.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services and collaborate with teachers and parents.
Qualifications:
  • For OT: Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Valid Maine OT license. Previous experience in a school setting is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • For COTA: Associates degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting from an accredited program. Valid Maine COTA license. Experience in a school setting is a plus. Ability to work effectively under the supervision of an OT and collaborate with school staff.
