Position Overview:
The Financial Advisory Associate plays a crucial role in the firm's expansion and client interaction. This position involves managing existing client relationships, conducting service meetings, reassessing risk and client objectives, updating financial strategies, and addressing various client needs throughout the year. As the role evolves, the associate will have the opportunity to acquire new clients and cultivate a personal portfolio with corresponding benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering exceptional service to a select clientele, which includes regular communication through various channels.
- Providing direct assistance to senior partners in daily client service tasks, meeting preparations, advisory roles, and financial planning.
- Supporting business development initiatives and crafting proposals.
- Ensuring timely execution of investment strategies for new client accounts in accordance with internal protocols.
- Maintaining client information and records in various internal systems, including portfolio management and CRM tools.
- Gaining a comprehensive understanding of portfolio management and risk assessment.
- Engaging with custodians and account managers regarding client service matters.
- Performing additional duties as assigned, which may include investment analysis, marketing efforts, and involvement in team projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Economics is preferred.
- Possession of Series 65, or a combination of Series 66 and 7.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, encompassing phone, video, email, and face-to-face interactions.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
- Positive demeanor and a willingness to work closely with team members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential.
- Basic understanding of the financial services sector.
- Prior experience in the financial services industry is advantageous.
