About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Northern Nevada Medical Center. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures in Surgery, Emergency Department, Pain Center, and the Imaging Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform imaging procedures using Trophon equipment, adhering to manufacturer recommendations and documenting processes according to policy.
  • Evaluate images for technical quality, ensuring all necessary images are obtained to provide the radiologist with the information needed.
  • Complete clinical notes that are concise and accurate to assist the radiologist in their evaluation.
  • Collaborate with customers to ensure their imaging needs are met, serving as the first point of contact in the imaging department.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree preferred, but not required.
  • One year of imaging experience, with specific experience and training in Ultrasound preferred.
  • Registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Ability to take call/standby in the Ultrasound department and for NNMC as needed.
