Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As an Ultrasound Technologist at Sierra Medical Center, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients. You will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures, including ultrasound, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
- Ensure high-quality images are obtained and documented for radiologist review.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including clinical notes and imaging results.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., diagnostic medical sonography, radiologic technology).
- One year of experience in ultrasound imaging or a related field.
- Registered or registry-eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
