Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior MRI Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing complex MRI imaging procedures, preparing and administering paramagnetic contrast media, and ensuring the technical competence of staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI imaging procedures with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Prepare and administer paramagnetic contrast media in accordance with department and hospital policy
  • Develop and implement clinical imaging protocols to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff members
Requirements
  • Current Basic Life Support Certification
  • CRT license/certification
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • ARRT certification
  • Minimum of three years recent MRI experience in an adult acute care facility
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of applicable regulatory requirements
  • Bilingual skills to communicate effectively with patients and families
  • Associates degree or Bachelor's degree in Radiological Sciences
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to radiation and potentially hazardous materials. The incumbent must be able to maintain flexibility and work effectively in a constantly changing environment.
