Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior MRI Technologist to join our team at InsideHigherEd. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing complex MRI imaging procedures, preparing and administering paramagnetic contrast media, and ensuring the technical competence of staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI imaging procedures with a high level of accuracy and efficiency
  • Prepare and administer paramagnetic contrast media in accordance with department and hospital policy
  • Ensure the technical competence of staff and develop and implement clinical imaging protocols
  • Act as primary contact for research-related projects and protocols
  • Collaborate with staff and faculty to ensure a responsive and consultative working relationship
Requirements
  • Current Basic Life Support Certification
  • CRT license/certification
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • ARRT certification
  • Minimum of three years recent MRI experience in an Adult Acute Care Facility
  • ARRT-MR certification
  • Venipuncture Certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of applicable regulatory requirements
  • Bilingual skills to communicate effectively with patients and families
  • Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Radiological Sciences
