About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist II to join our team at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian. As a key member of our Radiology Department, you will be responsible for performing routine and advanced MRI procedures with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the technical quality of images obtained and make necessary corrections to optimize the exam.
  • Accurately document patient information in hospital systems.
  • Provide education to patients and families about procedures and report changes in patient status.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement processes and maintain working knowledge of departmental and organizational policies.
Requirements
  • Associates Degree or higher in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) from an ARRT-approved educational program.
  • Three years of MRI experience, with preference for acute care environment.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification in MRI, and valid Venipuncture Certification.
