Speech Language Pathologist Job Description

CorsoCare is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in providing high-quality home health care services to clients in Washtenaw and Livingston County.

Job Summary

The Speech Language Pathologist will work as a contingent position, providing speech therapy services to clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech pathology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities
  • Perform speech therapy assessments and diagnostic tests to identify clients' needs and develop personalized care plans.
  • Develop and implement therapy care plans to provide direction to other health team members involved in the plan of care.
  • Document all findings, plans, interventions, and outcomes and submit documentation to the Agency within seven days.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements
  • Meets the education and experience requirements for Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in speech pathology by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • Is certified to practice Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Has a minimum of one year's experience in a health care facility or equivalent experience.
  • Current CPR certification, as applicable.
