Position Overview
As a Technical Research Analyst, your typical responsibilities will encompass:

The ideal candidate will engage in comprehensive research utilizing various tools provided by clients to bridge knowledge gaps and pinpoint opportunities and risks related to telecommunications infrastructure initiatives. A solid understanding of the Open Systems Interconnect (OSI) Model is essential, along with awareness of the challenges and risks tied to global telecommunications projects.

  • Conducts in-depth research, analysis, development, and evaluation of systems, procedures, and models within the assigned functional area.
  • Identifies and defines issues, researching potential solutions that maximize profitability or effectiveness concerning cost or risk.
  • Develops models of problems using multiple equations that connect constants and variables, restrictions, alternatives, conflicting objectives, and their numerical parameters.
  • Establishes data requirements, gathering and validating information while applying judgment and statistical analysis.
  • Organizes and analyzes technical data and reports, summarizing findings for management review, including problem definition, evaluation, and potential solutions.
  • Validates and tests models to ensure adequacy and identifies the need for reformulation.
  • Employs complex systems and applications in the problem-solving process.
  • Designs, conducts, and assesses experimental operational models in situations where data is insufficient to formulate a model.
  • Provides mentorship, guidance, and leadership to junior analysts, potentially including supervisory responsibilities.
  • Acts as a technical team or task lead.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
