Cardiac Telemetry Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our 4 South Cardiac Telemetry unit at Piedmont Henry Hospital. As a member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
About the UnitOur 32-bed Cardiac/Pulmonary Unit is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will work alongside Hospitalists, APPs, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Respiratory Therapists, and Patient Care Technicians. With a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4/1:5, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with cardiac and pulmonary conditions, including arrhythmia management, titratable cardiac drips, and telemetry monitoring.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Manage high-flow oxygen therapy, post-intra-cardiac defibrillator and pacemaker placement, and post-cardiac catheterization care.
- Participate in DKA management, including glucommander and titratable insulin drips.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A graduate degree in nursing from an accredited program.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in a cardiac unit.
- A current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
- BLS certification.
