Piedmont Henry Hospital is seeking a skilled Cardiac Telemetry Nurse to join our team. As a Cardiac Telemetry Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to patients with cardiac conditions, working closely with our Hospitalists and APPs to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Our Cardiac/Pulmonary Unit is a 32-bed unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4/1:5. You will be responsible for managing arrhythmia, cardioversion, pharmacologic management, and titratable cardiac drips, among other critical care skills.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to patients with cardiac conditions, including arrhythmia management and cardioversion.
- Manage pharmacologic therapy, including titratable cardiac drips.
- Monitor telemetry and high-flow oxygen therapy.
- Collaborate with Hospitalists and APPs to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
- Graduate of a nursing program.
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
- BLS certification required.
- One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Bachelors degree preferred.
