Unit OverviewOur 32-bed Cardiac/Pulmonary Unit is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients, including those with arrhythmias, cardiac conditions, and respiratory issues. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and education, and we are committed to supporting our nurses in their professional growth and development.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients with cardiac conditions, including monitoring and managing arrhythmias, cardiac drips, and other cardiac medications.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients, identifying potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement education plans for patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
To be considered for this role, you must have a current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia or a multistate license. BLS certification is also required. One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting is preferred, but new graduates are eligible to apply. A bachelor's degree is also preferred, and advanced certification in a field of specialty is a plus.
