Job Summary

K2 Integrity is seeking a skilled User Acceptance Testing Associate to support the Financial Crimes Risk Management practice. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of user acceptance testing principles and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scripts and plans for an application testing strategy in collaboration with data science counterparts and product management.
  • Create test plans, test cases, and scripts to ensure systems meet or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements.
  • Execute test scripts according to application requirements documentation and retest software corrections to ensure problems are resolved.
  • Document the evolution of testing cases/scripts for future replication and collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, business analysts, development, and quality assurance teams.
  • Lead the team on testing scope across applications and estimated completion dates, and continually improve internal processes, workflows, team collaboration, and results.
  • Facilitate providing test data requirements and enrich test cases to ensure alignment to business initiatives, and collaborate in identifying risks and mitigations to defects or process deficiencies.
  • Identify defects and work directly with the developer to resolve and validate fixes, and provide daily operational support and facilitate defect triage for production environments.
  • Perform end-to-end testing to ensure appropriate functionality, product integrity, accuracy, and quality of all changes and enhancements.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot erroneous results, determine root cause, and suggest solutions, and continuously improve and refine tests based on pre-production validation, post-production results, and feedback from other groups.
  • Assist with the creation and/or updates of standard operating procedures, and identify and assist in investigative items to potentially resolve production defects and create future enhancements.
  • Prioritize projects based on business need, assess risks, and develop strategies to lower the probability of errors and/or quality of out-of-network products.
  • Update leadership regarding testing status, and perform other duties and functions as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Business Analysis or Systems Analysis.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
  • Basic level experience in an IT testing role.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Software.
  • Effective listening skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong initiative.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • SQL experience preferred but not mandatory.
