Job Description:

At Allied Universal, we are seeking a highly skilled Security Monitoring Specialist to join our team. As a Security Monitoring Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm monitoring systems to detect and respond to potential security threats.
  • Respond to event-driven alarms in a timely and effective manner, documenting all activity and contacting support systems as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service in a call center environment, communicating effectively with clients and stakeholders via phone and email.
  • Conduct virtual escorts and patrols of assigned client properties, ensuring the security and integrity of the premises.
  • Complete incident reports and event reports, as well as perform camera maintenance checks and site incident reviews.
  • Read and interpret security logs, post orders, and other security correspondence to stay informed and up-to-date on security protocols and procedures.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year experience in law enforcement, security, military, customer service, or call center.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ years experience controlling cameras.
  • 1+ year experience in the security industry.
