Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sterile Processing Technician III to join our team at Seattle Children's. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of sterile processing procedures and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.


Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the preparation and sterilization of medical devices and equipment for healthcare providers.
  • Ensure that all sterile processing procedures are followed to maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to achieve department objectives and improve patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and productivity in the sterile processing department.
  • Provide training and guidance to new staff members on sterile processing procedures and protocols.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Graduation from a Sterile Processing Program or equivalent on-the-job training or related military experience.
  • Three or more years of recent experience in sterile processing.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating with other staff and facilitating teamwork to achieve department objectives.
  • Demonstrated experience with and successful execution of tasks related to multiple sterile processing workflows.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully completing tasks independently.
  • CSPDT or CRCST certification or obtained within one year of transfer/hire.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using Censitrac.
  • Experience using Epic.

Compensation and Benefits

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $38.78 per hour. Seattle Children's offers a generous benefit package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 403(b), life insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.
