Job Title: Ophthalmic Assistant - Ophthalmology Specialist

At Harbin Clinic, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Ophthalmic Assistant to join our team. As an Ophthalmic Assistant, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of our Eye Center, working closely with our ophthalmologists to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct patient intake processes, including chief complaint, medical history, and medication reconciliation.
  • Perform various ophthalmic tests and measurements to prepare for provider assessments.
  • Maintain infection control standards by sterilizing surgical instruments and cleaning equipment and exam rooms.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ophthalmic Certification (COA/COT) preferred.
  • Previous experience in the ophthalmic/optometric field preferred but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of general office equipment.
