As a Lead Software Architect within the ATPCO organization, you will guide and contribute to the formulation of technical requirements and various design artifacts.
Facilitate the successful delivery of customer value across the organization through effective designs, programming methodologies, and strategies, employing innovative techniques where feasible.
You will adhere to established ATPCO development standards and lead necessary adjustments to enhance the quality and productivity of the team.
Design and implement scalable solutions for large data volumes using Hadoop and Spark; develop and deploy machine learning models; construct data pipelines; optimize algorithms; collaborate with teams to deliver data-driven insights.
Develop and maintain software applications that interact extensively with various data stores, creating data-intensive software components to ensure efficient data flow and storage.
Collaborate with product managers to design and deliver resilient cloud-based solutions that enhance user experiences.
Translate technical concepts into accessible, non-technical language and tailor communication to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
Share your enthusiasm for staying updated on the latest technology trends, eagerly experimenting with and mastering modern technologies, and actively engaging in both internal and external technology circles.
Mentor and/or train other team members and peers as appropriate.
Promote a DevOps mindset and technical practices that support integration, automation, and collaboration to develop and operate solutions.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree (or higher) in an IT-related field of study (i.e., bachelor's or master's in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent).
Minimum 7 years of experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, Rust, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
5+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service.
5+ years of experience in open-source frameworks.
5+ years of experience in Agile (CICD) practices.
5+ years of experience in DevOps practices.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience and mastery of regression, functional, integration (end-to-end), and performance testing competencies.
Working knowledge of airline pricing data, systems, and products.
Deep experience in various software development methodologies such as agile, lean, scrum, and test-driven development.
Proven track record of fostering innovation, implementing cutting-edge technologies, promoting inclusion, encouraging outside-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity.
Salary Range:
USD $160,000 - $188,000
