Job Title: Infrastructure Solutions Architect

Job Summary:

The Infrastructure Solutions Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure of our organization. This includes provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of computer hardware and software, as well as related infrastructure such as network equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of our organization
  • Install and configure new hardware and software
  • Perform daily system monitoring and maintenance
  • Investigate and troubleshoot issues
  • Diagnose and recover from hardware or software failures
  • Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies
  • Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis
  • Configure and add new services as necessary
  • Upgrade and configure system software that supports GIS infrastructure applications or Asset Management applications
  • Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning
  • Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required

Requirements:

  • 7 years of experience in the field or related subject matter area
  • 5 years of experience in General Information Technology
  • 5 years of experience in Customer Service
  • 4 years of experience in Cisco Routing and Switching
  • 4 years of experience in Hardware Installation
  • 3 years of experience in Network Design
  • 3 years of experience in Vsphere/Virtualization
  • 1 year of experience in VPN & Remote Access Technologies
  • Cybersecurity experience
  • Backup Solutions experience
  • Network Monitoring experience
  • DNS/DHCP experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cisco Firepower/Firewall Management experience
  • Solutions Design build experience
  • Integration Troubleshooting experience
  • Software Integrations experience
