We are in search of a passionate and skilled Barista to enhance our café's atmosphere. As a Barista, your primary responsibility will be to deliver outstanding customer service while crafting exquisite coffee, tea, and other beverages. Key Responsibilities:

- Craft and serve a diverse range of hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffees and teas
- Accurately process customer orders using a point-of-sale system
- Provide exceptional customer service by welcoming patrons, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues
- Manage cash transactions with precision and maintain a balanced cash register
- Ensure a tidy and organized workspace, restocking supplies as necessary
- Adhere to health and safety protocols to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery
- Assist with food preparation and other related tasks as required

Essential Skills:

- Previous experience in food service or customer-facing roles is advantageous
- Familiarity with cash register or POS operations is beneficial
- Basic arithmetic skills for handling cash and providing change
- Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Keen attention to detail for accurate beverage preparation
- Effective communication skills for teamwork and customer interactions
- Understanding of food service regulations and safety practices is a plus

Requirements:
  • Preferred: Food handlers license for NY state
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Capability to lift 25 lbs or more
  • Willingness to bend and lift as needed
