Job Overview

The Facilities Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the operational integrity and upkeep of production equipment, facilities, and retail locations associated with Stonewall Kitchen. This role involves planning and coordinating maintenance tasks for both internal teams and external contractors, ensuring that all maintenance and repair operations are executed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Ensure a safe working environment for all team members and advocate for safety practices across all operations.
  2. Actively participate in safety committees and adhere to all safety regulations and protocols.
  3. Foster a culture of Continuous Improvement by providing insights and recommendations related to staffing and operational efficiencies.
  4. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of mechanics responsible for maintaining production equipment in various operational areas, ensuring alignment with service, cost, and safety objectives.
  5. Oversee and develop a team of facilities attendants to address the maintenance needs of infrastructure and retail properties.
  6. Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and regulatory agencies to meet maintenance and facility objectives.
  7. Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs for all managed areas, including production equipment and building systems.
  8. Coordinate utility management for retail locations, ensuring timely and efficient service adjustments as needed.
  9. Oversee inventory management for spare parts and supplies relevant to maintenance operations.
  10. Utilize company work order systems to manage and track maintenance activities.
  11. Prepare and manage budgets and work scopes for maintenance projects, maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

  1. High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
  3. Detail-oriented with the ability to establish and maintain organized systems and records.
  4. Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction at all organizational levels.
  6. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs regularly.
  7. Capability to navigate confined spaces and utilize ladders for extended periods.
  8. Willingness to work outside of standard hours as necessary.
  9. Flexibility to work beyond 40 hours per week based on business demands.
