Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our roadways and infrastructure assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on roads, bridges, and other infrastructure assets.
  • Set up and remove traffic control devices, including cones, message boards, and temporary signage.
  • Repair and maintain bridge structures, including railings, expansion joints, and painting.
  • Operate heavy equipment, such as large trucks and specialized motor vehicles.
  • Transport crew and equipment to work sites.
  • Perform litter and debris removal and disposal, including ice and snow removal.
  • Repair and maintain slopes, berms, culverts, drains, and other infrastructure features.
  • Control vegetation growth and appearance through lawn mowing and other methods.
  • Repair and maintain signs, guardrails, fences, and lighting.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of experience in infrastructure maintenance and repair preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
  • Class DZ/AZ driver's license and OTM Book 7 highly desirable.
Work Environment

The employee will be regularly exposed to traffic and outside weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold. The employee will occasionally be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, high precarious places, fume or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals.

The employee will be required to stand, sit, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear. The employee will be required to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and use manual and powered pneumatic, hydraulic, gas, and electric powered tools and equipment.

The employee will be required to pass a fit test for a respirator as required and work at heights and in confined spaces.
