Position Overview: Lifeguard at Spokane Club Inc

We are in search of a committed lifeguard to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our members at Spokane Club Inc. In this role, you will oversee the safety protocols at both the lap and leisure pools, adhering to the standards established by the American Red Cross.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend training sessions as directed by the Aquatics Director
  • Implement and enforce aquatic safety regulations
  • Execute rescues and provide first aid when required
  • Supervise the pool area in accordance with established safety guidelines
  • Keep the pool deck and storage areas organized and tidy
  • Support supervisors in various tasks as necessary
  • Follow the standards set forth in the Employee Handbook

Candidate Profile:

  • Enthusiastic with a strong commitment to customer service
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in using technology and effective communication
  • A collaborative team player, especially in high-pressure situations

Required Qualifications:

  • Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification is mandatory

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining a clean pool environment
