Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Rehabilitation Float Pool team in Spokane, Washington.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various rehabilitation units, including physical rehab, neuro rehab, and other specialized areas.
- Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and report changes in patient conditions to the RN or physician as appropriate.
- Safely administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following established protocols and ensuring patient safety.
- Work closely with RNs, physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Educate patients and their families about their rehabilitation plan, treatments, and self-care techniques to support recovery and independence.
- Accurately document patient care, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
- Adapt to different rehab units and patient populations, providing care where it is needed most within the float pool.
- Offer emotional support to patients and their families, helping them navigate the challenges of rehabilitation and recovery.
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Washington.
- Previous experience in a rehabilitation or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
- BLS certification is required.
- Strong clinical and assessment skills, excellent communication, flexibility to work in different units, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
