FT Assistant Meat Market Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities- Lead and direct a team of meat associates to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals
- Maintain a clean, well-organized, and safe working environment
- Develop and implement merchandising techniques and layouts to drive sales and customer engagement
- Ensure accurate pricing and coding of products
- Manage inventory control to minimize shrink and maximize sales
- Supervise performance of all duties and responsibilities of meat associates
- Maintain effective communication with the store manager and other departments
- Develop product knowledge and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
- Ability to lead and direct others
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job
- Good interpersonal skills and desire to work in a team environment
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift cases or packages of meat products weighing 1-40 lb. frequently and 100 lb. on occasion
- Ability to stand or walk 100% of the time while working in temperatures of 45 degrees F the majority of the time
- Role model outstanding, friendly customer service and use skills and knowledge to offer solutions that meet or exceed customers' expectations
- Direct work flow of meat cutters and meat clerks
- Ensure product produced meets company standards
- Oversee the cutting room, cooler organization, and rotation of all products
- Process administrative paperwork and maintain accurate department records
- Use good judgment in the delegation, assignment, and follow up required for efficient performance of the department
Salary range is between $31.60 per hour.
