Job Summary

Pacific Shipyards International is seeking a skilled Production Planner Scheduler to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed schedules for multiple ship repair projects. Your expertise in planning and scheduling will ensure that our projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain integrated product schedules (IPS) and create timelines with key milestones.
  • Collect and analyze production manning and material ECD's information to plan and schedule ship repairs.
  • Provide regular updates to the detailed production schedule and monitor its health metrics.
  • Coordinate meetings with project and planning teams to discuss issues, improvements, and changes to the schedule.
  • Utilize standard planning and scheduling methodologies and tools to ensure all production contractual requirements are met.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Project and/or Oracle Primavera P6.
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in ship repair project planning or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of federal contracts and NAVSEA standards is helpful.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, as well as effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and possess a strong understanding of planning and scheduling principles.
