We are seeking a highly skilled Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Trinity Health. As a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to our underserved population in downtown Atlanta, Georgia.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver primary care services under medical protocol to target population.
- Examine patients, make diagnoses, dispense medication, and make referrals as appropriate.
- Coordinate care with other health and social services professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Consult with medical director as needed.
- Provide patient care appropriate to ages served, primarily adults ages 18-65 or geriatric patients ages over 65.
- Graduation from an NLN approved MSN Nurse Practitioner program in the appropriate specialty.
- Certification as a practitioner, OR graduation from a certified Nurse Practitioner program and three years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Georgia RN license required.
- Two or more years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner required.
- Must have experience working in a primary care/clinical/urgent care/emergency room/trauma environment.
- Work experience with and/or sensitivity to target population preferred.
- Prefer Bilingual candidates (Spanish) but not required.
- A competitive compensation package.
