Operates the Point of Sale system, assists in food preparation, maintains cleanliness of coffee and cashier stations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists in the preparation of various food items including meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts.
- Performs cashier duties utilizing the POS system.
- Conducts general cleaning tasks; disposes of waste in designated areas.
- Provides service across all retail areas, including cashiering and serving.
- Adheres to established cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy with receipts and making deposits at the end of each shift.
- Manages inventory and restocks supplies and food products.
- Sets up serving lines, ensuring food temperatures are monitored and recorded, alerting kitchen staff if temperatures fall outside acceptable ranges.
- Serves both hot and cold food items to customers.- Prepares items for sale on a daily basis.
- Ensures the refrigerator is stocked and products are rotated following the first in, first out principle.
- Restocks pantries to maintain appropriate levels of food items daily, documenting replenished amounts.
- Records refrigerator temperatures daily.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
