Job Summary

As a Cashier, you will be responsible for operating the Point of Sale system, assisting the Chef, preparing coffee, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare food items such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts, as well as assist with catering orders.
  • Perform cashier duties using the POS system, maintaining cash accuracy and making deposits at the end of each shift.
  • Perform general cleaning duties, including removing trash and garbage to designated areas.
  • Provide excellent customer service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
  • Inventories and restocks supplies and food products, ensuring that the refrigerator is stocked and product is rotated using the first-in, first-out rule.
  • Sets up serving lines, ensuring temperatures are taken and recorded, and notifies cooks if food temperatures are not within acceptable limits.
  • Serves hot and cold items to customers and sets up items for purchase on a daily basis.
