About the Role:

As a Cashier Advocate at Target, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers. You will work in a fast-paced environment, handling cash register operations, scanning and moving merchandise, and maintaining a clean and organized store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guest service that makes them say 'I LOVE TARGET'
  • Operate cash registers and process transactions accurately
  • Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely
  • Maintain a clean and organized store, including emptying garbage cans and attending to restroom cleanliness
  • Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up, and Drive-up

Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
  • Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience building a guest-first culture
  • Experience in retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends, pricing and promotion strategies, inventory management, and process efficiency and improvement
  • Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
