Job Summary

We are seeking a Product Line Director to join our Consumer Packaging International Division. This role will be responsible for managing the consumer healthcare product lines to promote circularity, enhance profitability, and accelerate growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a product/market/asset strategy and roadmap to optimize profitability, return on investment, and growth.
  • Expertise in market positioning and market pricing, directing the business towards optimal asset utilization and most efficient deployment of capital.
  • Responsibility for the marketing mix of the consumer healthcare product lines (bottles, closures, and drug delivery packaging):
  • Define and execute market-informed pricing strategy for all consumer healthcare product lines.
  • Expand and enhance the competitive positioning of the consumer healthcare portfolio, including supporting the innovation and promotion of best-in-class circular solutions.
  • New product development:
  • Guide new product development through customer and consumer insights, as well as competitive intelligence and market trends.
  • Product Management lead for new product developments, from creation of brief through to successful commercialization, collaborating across functions to optimize success.
  • Managing the product life cycle; analyze product portfolio and propose ideas for optimization and enhancement.
  • Effective communication of the product range, including supporting specific customer presentations and broader marketing collateral. Prepare training documents for sales teams, assisting with product line training when needed.
  • Coordinate market and competitive intelligence. Collect, analyze, and effectively communicate customer, consumer, competitive, and market trends, observing growth opportunities.
  • Knowledge leadership in products and markets, including latest trends and competitor launches.
  • Prepare product and market reports for the consumer healthcare product lines/markets.
  • Project manage across functions to achieve goals and responsibilities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Strategic Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. Master's or MBA preferred.
  • Several years of product management experience in an international environment, preferably with experience in North American Consumer Healthcare markets and ideally in primary packaging (bottles and closures).
  • Financial acumen to understand cost models, value selling/market pricing, P&L levers, and margin management.
  • Excellent analytical skills, commercially astute with strong project management capabilities.
  • Ability to think strategically, identify, and prioritize areas of opportunity and lead appropriate action. Experienced in driving sustainability initiatives.
  • Strong multi-cultural leadership skills, operating effectively with people at all levels and across all functions of the organization.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Available for travel 50-75%.
