As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians with invasive cardiac procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and organize equipment and sterile trays for procedures
  • Assist procedure room teams with patient positioning and monitoring
  • Calibrate and test transducers for accurate pressure readings
  • Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Load and operate power injectors and associated equipment
  • Calibrate hemodynamic monitoring equipment and analyze data
  • Calculate and record cardiac output and oximetry readings
  • Utilize digital cine technologies and maintain patient images and records
  • Assist with vascular access and hemostatic closure devices
  • Manage inventory control and prepare equipment for procedures
  • Operate equipment safely and maintain sterile techniques
  • Recognize and interpret cardiac arrhythmias
  • Participate in quality and performance improvement initiatives
  • Support radiation safety standards and promote a safe work environment

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular technologist program or radiologic technologist program
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
  • AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 3 months of employment
  • RCIS exam given by CCI or Radiologic Technologist License within 1 year of hire
