About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Practice Physician to join our team at Brighter Beginnings. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality primary and continuing medical care to patients, taking into account their physical, emotional, and social factors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive medical care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and referral to secondary and tertiary care as needed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to HIPAA regulations
  • Develop and implement preventative medical programs for individual patients, promoting healthy lifestyles and disease prevention
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide specialist clinics for specific conditions or groups, such as diabetes, pregnancy, and pediatrics
  • Meet targets set by federal agencies for specific treatments, such as child immunizations, and participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Stay current with medical developments, new treatments, and medications, including complementary medicine, to provide evidence-based care
  • Supervise and mentor Nurse Practitioners, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Participate in quarterly clinical chart review studies to enhance patient outcomes and identify areas for improvement
  • Review medical records as requested by providers to ensure quality care and treatment issues are addressed
Working Conditions and Physical Effort

This role involves occasional exposure to disagreeable odors, fumes, or airborne particles, communicable diseases, and potential for strains and injuries due to equipment or patient causes.
