The VCU Department of Family Medicine and Population Health is in search of a Board Certified/Board Eligible family physician to contribute to a new outpatient clinical site.
This role offers a competitive compensation package along with a comprehensive benefits program, including opportunities for clinical bonuses. We are looking for a Full-Time physician who will engage in medical education and may participate in departmental research initiatives. The position encompasses the full spectrum of family medicine without inpatient responsibilities.
- Standard 5-day work week, inclusive of clinical administrative duties for chronic disease management and patient communication; phone-only call responsibilities.
- Access to support services at VCU Medical Center, featuring 24/7 hospitalist services, laboratory, imaging, and specialty consultations.
- Robust benefits package that includes annual funds for continuing medical education and professional development; coverage for licensure, professional memberships, and DEA fees; relocation assistance, vacation, sick leave, and holidays.
- Eligibility for a clinical faculty appointment within the VCU Department of Family Medicine and Population Health.
- Utilization of Epic EMR for patient management.
- Deliver high-quality outpatient primary care services to both new and established patients within the community.
- Participation in hospital or departmental committees as appropriate.
Essential Qualifications:
- Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine.
- Eligible for full staff privileges at VCU Health System.
- Eligible for medical licensure in Virginia.
- Proven experience in collaborating with and fostering a diverse team, including staff, residents, and students, through an inclusive and supportive approach.
