Position Overview

The primary responsibilities of this role include:
  • Replacing, modifying, and/or installing heating systems, air conditioning units, ductwork, boilers, water heaters, and associated piping and electrical systems in compliance with manufacturer specifications and local regulations.
  • Starting up installed equipment and adjusting settings to meet job specifications.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise during installation to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Communicating effectively with clients regarding the operation and maintenance of installed systems, addressing any questions about features and functions.
  • Completing necessary documentation for each installation, including startup records, and ensuring client signatures and payment collection as required.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Exhibit a strong customer service orientation.
  2. Possess a solid understanding of the products and services offered, with a willingness to engage in ongoing training.
  3. Familiarize yourself with local regulations regarding plans, permits, and submission processes.
  4. Maintain communication with the Field Installation Supervisor throughout each project to ensure timely and accurate job completion.
  5. Continuously enhance your knowledge of construction practices and Thermacon Service Company’s operational standards to better serve our clients.
  6. Set and pursue personal goals and objectives related to your role, developing a plan to achieve or exceed these targets.
  7. Regularly assess progress towards goals and seek assistance when necessary.
  8. Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, vendors, and clients.
  9. Ensure customer satisfaction through follow-up on all installations.
  10. Request customer referrals and online recommendations.
  11. Develop and maintain excellent interpersonal skills.
  12. Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications accurately.
  13. Order materials and supplies efficiently for job execution.
  14. Work effectively under time constraints and budget limitations.
  15. Manage time and schedules efficiently.
  16. Demonstrate proficiency in computer applications necessary for the role, including Microsoft Excel and Word, as well as familiarity with smartphones, email, and Outlook.
  17. Understand client needs and commit to continuous learning through training, trade shows, seminars, and independent study.
  18. Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
  19. Perform other duties as assigned.
