Position Overview

The primary responsibilities of this role include:
  • Installing, modifying, and replacing heating systems, air conditioning units, ductwork, boilers, water heaters, and associated piping and electrical systems in compliance with manufacturer specifications and local regulations.
  • Starting up installed systems and adjusting them according to job specifications.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during installation to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Educating clients on the proper operation and maintenance of installed systems, addressing any questions regarding features and functionality.
  • Completing necessary documentation for each installation, including startup records, and obtaining client signatures for required paperwork.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Exhibit a strong customer service orientation.
  2. Possess a solid understanding of the products and services offered, which may necessitate additional training.
  3. Familiarize yourself with local plan and permit requirements.
  4. Maintain communication with the Field Installation Supervisor throughout each project to ensure timely completion.
  5. Continuously enhance your knowledge of construction practices and Thermacon Service Company’s operational procedures.
  6. Set personal goals and develop actionable plans to achieve or exceed them.
  7. Regularly assess progress towards goals and seek assistance when necessary.
  8. Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, vendors, and clients.
  9. Ensure customer satisfaction through follow-up on all installations.
  10. Solicit customer referrals and online recommendations.
  11. Develop and maintain strong interpersonal skills.
  12. Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications accurately.
  13. Order materials and supplies efficiently for job execution.
  14. Work effectively under time constraints and budgetary limits.
  15. Manage time and schedules proficiently.
  16. Demonstrate computer literacy necessary for job functions, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, as well as familiarity with smartphones and email.
  17. Understand client needs and engage in continuous learning through various training opportunities.
  18. Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
  19. Perform additional duties as assigned.
